Ksar Shama

Marrakech – Ouirgane

Ksar Shama is a Berber-style estate in Marigha (Ouirgane), about an hour from Marrakech, at an altitude of 1,000 m. It sits in the middle of a fifteen-hectare olive grove with a panoramic view of the Atlas peaks. Rammed-earth rooms and suites, hand-carved doors and furniture, Berber rugs and tadelakt make for an authentic setting. The estate also offers a pool, a spa, a restaurant (cooking with its own olive oil) and activities in the nearby villages.

Aux Lumières du Toubkal is a guesthouse in Imlil, in the village of Tamatert, a few minutes’ walk from Toubkal National Park. Rebali Riads

Essaouira – Sidi Kaouki

Rebali Riads is a collection of about six riad-style villas (one to four bedrooms) in Sidi Kaouki, a coastal village about 25 minutes from Essaouira. Each villa has a garden, a pool and a rooftop terrace with an ocean view, and the beach is a few hundred metres away. Moroccan meals (tagines, couscous, fresh fish) are served right in each riad. There is also a hammam and a tennis court, for family or couple stays away from the crowds.

Kasbah d’Eau is a boutique hotel with 17 rooms and suites, opened at the end of 2024, perched above Sidi Kaouki beach, south of Essaouira.
